Union rally attracts more than 200 people

The rally signs ranged from "Enough is enough" to "Supreme Court, history is watching."

Holding them were two of the more than 200 spectators who turned out Saturday for the Working People's Day of Action backing unions and the workplace and community issues they support.

Organized by the Working Families Party, the rally featured local politicians and union leaders urging people to continue fighting President Trump and Congress for affordable health care, quality education and a secure future.

The rally, held on the steps of the U.S. District Courthouse downtown, was part of a national campaign by the party that included rallies in Chicago, Phoenix, Miami and other cities across the country.
